Many people think sit-ups or crunches are the best stomach exercise, I was one of them. The best exercise you can do for your stomach is without a doubt jogging, or any other cardio exercises like walking or swimming.
If you want a flat stomach or some rock hard abs you need to get rid of the fat covering your stomach first.
So by doing crunches and other stomach exercises you will get great abs, but you will not burn the fat that is keeping them hidden.
Exercising all of your body and burning fat all over together with healthy eating habits is the key to achieving a flatter stomach.
Just remember along with a healthy diet, walking and/or jogging is one of the best stomach exercises you can perform because it raises your metabolism enough to burn excess calories all over your body.
So if you are doing hundreds of crunches or working out with special exercise equipment but do not see results, you now know why.
The best way to burn fat all over your body is by moving. Doing any type of activity that gets you moving contributes to your flat stomach goal.
You should start by walking or jogging 3-4 times a week to increase your heart rate and boost your metabolism. (Advice: Swimming is also a great way to burn excess calories too try swimming 3-4 times a week, see how that works.)
